Turkey: We Stand with Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Legitimate Government

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that his country stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the legitimate government in Yemen, emphasizing the freedom of movement and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab as a key element for food security.
This came during the Turkish minister's speech at the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The Turkish minister considered the recent developments in Yemen, especially the Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a "distraction," according to his expression.
