Al-Dhale Police: Deportation of Northerners an Individual Act Under Investigation

The Al-Dhale Governorate Police Department stated that the deportation of several individuals from northern governorates was the result of individual field actions currently under follow-up and investigation to clarify their circumstances and rectify their consequences according to the law.
The Al-Dhale police indicated they are following the incident with full responsibility and will take the necessary measures to address its effects and prevent the recurrence of any actions outside the legal framework.
It affirmed that citizens with existing businesses, professions, crafts, and interests in the governorate are permitted to continue their activities and return to their workplaces upon completion of the necessary organizational procedures, in a way that balances the requirements of maintaining security with respect for individual rights and dignity.
It noted that for years, Al-Dhale governorate has hosted large numbers of citizens from various Yemeni governorates, including workers, business owners, and professionals, as well as families displaced by the war and confrontations in Taiz and the West Coast. All live side by side with the governorate's residents in a framework of coexistence, common interests, and social and humanitarian ties, enjoying their legally guaranteed rights without discrimination.
It continued: The security department confirms that protecting society is a fundamental responsibility of the competent authorities, and any security measures must be based on clear justifications and implemented according to the law, in proportion to actual risks, avoiding generalizations or collective responsibility. Additionally, identity verification and the regulation of residency and work affairs are carried out through official channels without harming legitimate business and interest holders.
The Al-Dhale Police Department stressed that political differences should not affect the treatment of citizens or diminish their rights. It reiterated its appreciation for the genuine humanitarian stances embodied by the people of Al-Dhale throughout the war years by receiving the displaced and providing relief aid. It called on media and activists to be accurate and professional, and to avoid divisive rhetoric or exploiting the incident to harm the governorate and its people.
