Gold Prices in Sana'a and Aden: Wed, Sept. 16, 2026
Gold prices on Wednesday showed a disparity between the markets of Sana'a and Aden, as the global ounce price was recorded at over $4,337.
According to gold price data, the price of a gold ounce reached $4,337.10 for purchase and $4,337.23 for sale, while a silver ounce was recorded at $64.680 for purchase and $64.701 for sale.
In Aden, the price of a 21-karat gold gram reached about 184,701 Yemeni rials, while a 24-karat gram was recorded at about 215,035 rials, and the price of a gold sovereign (8 grams) reached about 1,484,516 rials.
In Sana'a, the price of a 21-karat gold gram was about 63,319 Yemeni rials, and a 24-karat gram was about 73,715 rials, while the gold sovereign was recorded at about 508,915 rials.
The significant disparity in gold prices between Sana'a and Aden comes amidst differing local currency exchange rates across the country's regions.
