Nation Shield Forces Thwart Houthi Attack on Kahboub Front
Yemen's pro-government Nation Shield Forces announced on Thursday that they thwarted an attack by the Houthi group on their positions at the Kahboub front, following clashes that lasted for more than three hours.
The forces stated that the Third Brigade of the First Division successfully repelled the attack three consecutive times, forcing the attackers to retreat, and noted that there were losses among the Houthis and that a number of their military vehicles were destroyed and burned.
Pro-government forces and the Houthi group are engaged in fierce clashes at the Kahboub mountains site, which is of military importance as it is located in an elevated area overlooking the roads and corridors surrounding the Bab al-Mandab strait.
