The Under-15 national team will begin its matches tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28, in the second stage of the World Cup Talent Festival. The event is organized by the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, from October 24 to 31, with 189 national teams participating.
Our team will face the Ugandan national team tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:30 AM, in Level C, where 32 teams will compete to determine the rankings from 65th to 96th worldwide.
The Under-15 national team finished the first stage in third place in Group 14 (N) with 9 points, earned from victories over Aruba, Saint Lucia, and Palestine, and losses to Greece and Croatia. Greece topped the group with 15 points, and Croatia was second with ten points.
Meanwhile, the Ugandan national team finished second in Group U with 10 points.
According to the tournament system, all teams continue to compete until the final day, and there are no knockout rounds that result in any team's elimination. If our team defeats Uganda, it will move to the next track within the third level to face another winning team from the same level and continue competing for the higher ranks within the 65th to 96th category.
In the event of a loss for any team in the second stage, it will continue to play and face another losing team from the same level.
