Yemeni Army Announces 38 Houthis Killed and Injured, 3 Military Vehicles Destroyed in Taiz

The Yemeni army announced that 38 Houthis were killed and injured, and three military vehicles and a machine gun were destroyed, during clashes and airstrikes in the southwestern Taiz governorate.
The Taiz Military Axis said in a statement on its "X" platform account that violent clashes broke out on Thursday on the Al-Misrakh and Sabir Al-Mawadim fronts, south of the governorate, during which government forces repelled Houthi attacks and inflicted human and material losses on the group.
It added that the clashes extended to the fronts west of Taiz, including the vicinity of Jabal Han, Al-Dhabab, and Asifrah, while other fronts witnessed intermittent clashes that sometimes escalated into violent confrontations.
The statement indicated that warplanes launched five airstrikes on Houthi sites and gatherings, including a training camp in the village of Tabashia in the Al-Asha'ab area, west of Taiz, which it said the group uses for training, assembly, and preparing attacks targeting the city.
It explained that other raids targeted gatherings and military vehicles in the Al-Dhabab area, one of which resulted in the burning of a military vehicle carrying a Houthi leader.
The statement mentioned that the toll from the clashes and raids reached 38 killed and wounded among the Houthis, including a leader, in addition to the destruction of three military vehicles and a 14.5-caliber machine gun, without providing separate details on the number of dead and wounded.
