Nation Shield Forces Announce 5 Killed, 3 Injured in Hadramaut Attack
The General Command of the Nation Shield Forces announced on Saturday the killing of five members of the 4th Brigade, 2nd Division, including the son of the brigade's chief of staff, and the injury of three others, in an armed attack that targeted them at a restaurant in the Ramah district of Hadramaut governorate.
In a statement on the X platform, it said the attack was carried out by "elements outside the system and the law," describing it as a "treacherous criminal attack."
The Nation Shield Forces extended their condolences to the families of the deceased, to the 4th Brigade's Chief of Staff Colonel Mohammed Al-Basht, and to all members of the brigade, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Nation Shield Forces vowed that the incident "will not go unpunished," noting that they will continue, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to pursue the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
