Al-Khanbashi Announces Integration of 1324 Hadramout Protection Force Soldiers into Governorate Police
On Wednesday, Salem Al-Khanbashi, member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramout, announced the integration of 1,324 soldiers from the Hadramout Protection Force into the governorate's police.
In a post on the X platform, Al-Khanbashi stated that he reviewed the procedures for inventorying and organizing security personnel, and completing the transfer and arrangement of Hadramout Protection Force members into the security and police forces of Wadi and Sahra Hadramout.
He added that 1,324 members have completed their procedures out of a total of 1,700 members.
Al-Khanbashi stressed the importance of completing the procedures according to the approved frameworks and updating the personnel databases in various security units and departments. This, he noted, enhances information accuracy, organizes personnel distribution, raises administrative and functional discipline, and contributes to strengthening the efficiency of the security institution.
It is noteworthy that the Hadramout Protection Forces are affiliated with the Hadramout Tribal Alliance and have previously engaged in military confrontations against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council forces.
Presidential directives were also issued to merge the members of these forces into the police and security in Yemen's largest governorate by area.
