The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast relatively cool, clear weather in the mountainous highlands, and scattered rain over parts of them and coastal areas within the next 24 hours, urging people to avoid floodplains and valleys.

According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, the weather is expected to be clear and relatively cool in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda, with a possibility of mist or fog forming during the night and early morning in parts of Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, and Abyan governorates.

During the day, the weather may turn partly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms at times over parts of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Al-Dhale'e, and the highlands of Lahj and Abyan in the afternoon and evening.

The weather is likely to be partly cloudy with scattered rain over parts of the Tihama plain and the Socotra archipelago. Winds will be moderate to active over the Gulf of Aden, the southern west coast, and the Bab al-Mandab strait.

In desert areas, the weather may be generally clear, with moderate winds that occasionally become active, stirring up dust and sand.

The center warned citizens against flash floods in ravines and valleys and being present in their paths during and after rainfall. It also warned of thunderstorms and reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds on mountain roads.
