Funeral Held for Armed Forces Members in Marib
A funeral was held in Marib governorate for Ezzedine Hammoud Hussein Al-Zalil, commander of the 8th Task Battalion of the 13th Infantry Brigade, and others who were killed during clashes with the Houthis.
The funeral ceremony for the bodies was held, carried on the shoulders of their comrades-in-arms, draped in the republican flags, in a solemn procession to the Martyrs' Cemetery in Marib city. The procession was led by the commander of the Third Military Region, Mansour Thawaba, the commander of the 13th Infantry Brigade, Akram Al-Adeimi, and a number of military, security, and civilian leaders, according to the Armed Forces Media Center.
Thawaba praised the virtues of Ezzedine Al-Zalil and his comrades and the sacrifices they made on the frontlines, stressing that their sacrifices will remain present in the course of the national battle, and that their blood will remain a motivation to continue the struggle to restore the state and its institutions.
