Rainfall Expected to Continue Across Several Governorates

Rainfall is forecast to continue tomorrow, Sunday, with inland mountainous highlands likely to experience varying levels of heavy rain, after several governorates witnessed rainfall and floods today, Saturday.
The rain is expected to cover the mountainous and western basins and possibly the governorates of Amanat Al-Asimah, Sana'a, Dhamar, Ibb, Al-Bayda, the mountainous areas south and west of Marib, west of Sa'ada, Amran, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, and Lahij, and the Tihama plains east of Al-Hudaydah.
According to estimates from the National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning, several Yemeni governorates will be affected by a low-pressure system coming from the Arabian Sea from October 22 to 25, 2026, accompanied by heavy thunderstorms and active winds on the coasts.
The center warned of heavy rainfall over large areas of the Yemeni governorates, urging caution regarding flash floods, reduced visibility, and active winds in coastal areas.
