Shabwa Governor Orders Increased Medical Readiness for Houthi Shelling Victims
On Monday, Shabwa Governor Awadh Al-Wazir visited members of the Security Belt forces who were injured in a Houthi ballistic missile attack on a training center during a course for new internal security recruits.
The Governor directed to increase medical readiness, mobilize all resources to provide the necessary healthcare, and follow up on cases requiring specialized medical interventions, ensuring all the wounded receive the required care.
The Shabwa Governor considered the targeting of facilities and training centers with ballistic missiles a dangerous escalation, reflecting the Houthis' continued approach of using violence, undermining security and stability, and violating humanitarian laws and norms.
He stressed that these "attacks will not deter the security services from continuing their national duties to protect the governorate's security and stability," emphasizing that caring for the members of the security institution, its wounded, and the families of its martyrs is a responsibility and a duty, and that the security services will continue their mission to preserve public tranquility and reinforce the foundations of security and stability.
