Taiz Axis: 7 Houthis killed in clashes and raids on several fronts
The Taiz Axis Media Center said on Wednesday that the battlefronts in the governorate have witnessed clashes with Houthi group militants in the past 24 hours, concentrated on the fronts of Al-Ahtub, Al-Kadha, Al-Dhabab, Al-Silw, and the eastern front of Taiz city.
The center added that government forces on the Al-Kadha front and the fronts surrounding the city thwarted attempts to use drones, managing to deal with them and foil their objectives.
It noted that on Wednesday afternoon, the Houthi group shelled densely populated residential neighborhoods north of Taiz city with artillery.
According to the center, warplanes carried out four raids targeting Houthi gatherings and positions in Taiz, including two raids on Wednesday evening on gatherings and weapons depots in the Al-Barh area.
It added that a third raid this evening targeted a meeting of Houthi leaders in the Al-Wazi'iyah district, while a fourth raid at dawn on Wednesday targeted Houthi gatherings in the same district.
The center said that the clashes over the past 24 hours resulted in the killing of seven Houthi members.
