Two Houthi Missiles Land Inside Aden International Airport in Second Incident in Less Than a Week

Aden's security administration announced on Friday that two missiles fired by the Houthi group landed within the premises of Aden International Airport, in the second such incident in less than a week, noting that initial information recorded no loss of life.
The administration said, in a security clarification, that the relevant authorities are continuing to complete the necessary procedures regarding the incident, confirming that any additional details will be announced as soon as they are complete.
Aden's security administration warned that the recurrence of incidents within the airport premises poses a threat to the safety of civilian facilities and air traffic, especially with the continuation of flights to and from several countries and the presence of passengers in departure and arrival halls.
It pointed to the vital importance of Aden Airport for Yemenis, including patients and humanitarian cases who rely on it for travel and to receive treatment abroad.
The administration called on the United Nations, international and humanitarian organizations, and civil aviation authorities to address the risks of targeting civilian facilities and to work to ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and the protection of civil aviation.
It also called on citizens, media professionals, and social media activists to adhere to security instructions and not to publish information, photos, or videos related to security incidents in a manner that violates directives issued by the competent authorities, stressing the importance of obtaining information from official sources.
The administration expressed its appreciation for the citizens, media professionals, and social media activists who complied with the security circulars and instructions and cooperated with the relevant agencies.
