The Taiz Axis Media Center announced on Friday that 378 Houthi members were killed and injured during field confrontations and airstrikes on the governorate's fronts, including Al-Misrakh and Al-Shaqab, according to a toll reported in a military update at 9 PM.

The center stated that the toll included 168 killed and 210 wounded, resulting from confrontations between government forces, supported by the popular resistance, and the Houthis, in addition to airstrikes targeting the group's positions and gatherings.

It clarified that the confrontations were concentrated on the Al-Misrakh front, particularly in the areas of Al-Aqroudh, Jabal Dhihayh, and Kahlan. The Al-Shaqab front, south of Taiz city, also witnessed fierce battles, which it said resulted in losses among the Houthis.

It added that warplanes launched nine airstrikes targeting Houthi positions and gatherings at the western entrance to Taiz city, the Al-Misrakh district, and the Al-Shaqab front.

In the west of the governorate, the center pointed to the continuation of intermittent confrontations between government forces and the Houthis on the Al-Dhabab front and the vicinity of Jabal Han.
