Taiz: Houthi Attack North of City Foiled, Group Sends Reinforcements to Al-Shaqab Front

Government forces, backed by popular resistance, thwarted an attack launched by the Houthi group on their positions on the northern front of Taiz city, southwestern Yemen, and forced them to retreat.
The Yemeni army's official website, "September Net," quoted a military source as saying that government forces repelled a Houthi attack towards the Abart Al-Awadi area on the Al-Arbaeen front, north of the city.
The source added that Houthi reinforcements, including military vehicles and a tank, arrived from the direction of Al-Dimnah to the Al-Shaqab front, noting the arrival of eight other vehicles via the Dhi Al-Barah road towards the Al-Sarari area in Sabir Al-Mawadim.
In a related context, a field source reported that the Houthis warned citizens to evacuate their homes in the Hadaiq Al-Saleh area, west of the city, and head towards the central prison, allowing them to return after four days.
