Yemenia Announces Direct Flights Between Aden and Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Yemenia Airways has announced the launch of direct flights between Aden and the Saudi city of Dammam, starting October 8.
Company spokesperson Hatem Al-Sha'abi stated that Dammam will become Yemenia's third destination within the Kingdom, clarifying that the new route aims to facilitate travel for citizens and meet the needs of travelers, especially in the Eastern Province.
He added that the new route will also serve the Yemeni community in neighboring countries where Yemenia Airways does not operate direct flights, by providing an additional travel option via Dammam. This will help facilitate their movement, reduce travel time, and enhance air connectivity options.
He explained that the flights will offer additional options for travelers from the Eastern Province and transit passengers with a layover time not exceeding two hours, contributing to reduced travel time and improved flight connections.
He noted that the launch of the route is a response to the growing travel demand between Yemen and the Kingdom, representing a new addition to the national carrier's network and strengthening air links between the two countries.
