Army Announces Continued Battles Against Houthis in Marib and Al-Jawf
The army announced on Saturday evening the continuation of battles against the Houthis over the past hours within the operational theater of the Seventh Military Region on the northern front of Marib governorate.
The Armed Forces Media Center stated that the army dealt with Houthi advances, managing to destroy combat equipment and neutralize a number of fighters. With effective support from fighter jets and drones, the forces succeeded in destroying Houthi fortifications, breaking their advance formations, while artillery and rocket launchers engaged.
The center added that the armed forces continued their combat operations on the southern and southeastern fronts of Al-Jawf, within the operational theater of the Sixth Military Region, with effective support from fighter jets and drones.
It noted that over the past hours, the forces engaged in heroic confrontations for the third consecutive day, dealing with multiple Houthi combat formations pushed to the front lines. Meanwhile, fighter jets and drones targeted Houthi gatherings and positions, inflicting losses in equipment and personnel.
The Media Center stated that the armed forces on the eastern fronts of Al-Jawf are continuing their combat operations against the Houthis, having completed clearing sites in the Al-Dahidha mountain range after securing positions in the Qarn Al-Sayari and Malfifa mountains.
It explained that the forces, with the participation of the First and Second Emergency Forces Divisions, continued to advance into Houthi-controlled areas, storming their fortifications and trench networks and dealing with mine maps and explosive devices they had planted.
