Ba'oum: Those Who Turned Aden into a Gang Haven Won't Build a State Through Chaos
Fadi Ba'oum, head of the political bureau of the Southern Future Council in Hadhramaut, attacked the dissolved Southern Transitional Council (STC) after its elements attempted to prevent an event organized by the Future Council today, Saturday, in Mukalla.
Ba'oum stated: Your thuggery was shattered at the doors of our hall in Mukalla; you deluded yourselves into thinking you could disrupt the event, but our men were ready for you, and it proceeded despite you.
He added: Those who are argumentatively bankrupt and have turned Aden into an open field for gangs and thieves will not build a state through chaos and cheap posturing. Our events will continue today and tomorrow.
Groups affiliated with the dissolved Southern Transitional Council tried to prevent the event organized by the Southern Future Council in Hadhramaut, but army and security forces intervened to secure the hall and ensure the meeting continued.
Sources from within the event mentioned that the security measures contributed to the completion of the expanded meeting called for by Fadi Ba'oum, head of the council's political bureau, which was attended by several figures and individuals interested in the governorate's political affairs.
The organizers stressed the importance of allowing various political components to express their opinions and hold their events in a safe atmosphere, while the meeting continued as scheduled after its location was secured by security and military forces.
