Houthi Attack in Al-Aqroudh Front, Taiz, Foiled; Artillery Shelling Injures 9 Civilians

Government forces announced on Saturday that they repelled an attack launched by the Houthi group on military sites in the Al-Aqroudh front, south of Taiz governorate, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted residential villages in the area, resulting in nine civilian injuries.
The army's official spokesperson website, "September Net," citing military and field sources, reported that the armed forces, with the support of the popular resistance, managed to thwart the attack and inflict human and material losses on the attackers.
The sources added that the Houthi shelling affected several villages in the Al-Aqroudh district, injuring nine civilians and causing damage to homes and property.
In a related context, field sources reported observing Houthi military movements on the road linking the Al-Misrakh market and the Al-Aqroudh area. These movements included six military vehicles, a vehicle equipped with radar, and another carrying jamming devices for drones.
According to the website, the continued arrival of this military equipment to the group raises concerns about the nature of the supplies it is receiving and their compliance with resolutions banning the supply of weapons to the Houthis.
