Coalition: Houthi Drone Intercepted Before Entering Mecca's Airspace

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Wednesday at dawn the interception and destruction of a drone that it said the Houthi group launched towards Mecca.
Coalition forces' spokesman, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the Royal Saudi Air Defense forces intercepted the drone at 18:50 local time, before it entered the prohibited airspace of the holy capital.
Al-Maliki added in a statement that the drone interception took place south of the city of Mecca, confirming its destruction before it entered the prohibited airspace.
