Premier League: Manchester City hosts Brighton, aiming to return to winning ways
Etihad Stadium hosts a tough match between Manchester City and Brighton in the ninth round of the English Premier League football.
This showdown comes after the two teams met in a thrilling English League Cup match that Man City won on penalties after the game ended in a two-goal draw.
The match also follows their first league defeat of the season, a 2-1 loss to hosts Aston Villa last Saturday.
City players, led by coach Enzo Maresca, concluded their training on Friday evening in preparation to host Brighton. The club stated that the players' focus has now returned to the league competition after the Cup match, as they seek to get back to their winning ways.
As part of the preparations, City players continued to work hard at the City Football Academy, putting the final touches before another anticipated exciting match against Brighton.
Manchester City leads the table with 24 points, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference, while Brighton is in third place with 16 points.
