Saudi Arabia beats Qatar on penalties, reaches Gulf Cup 27 final

The Saudi national team reached the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf Cup 27" in Jeddah, after defeating its Qatari counterpart 3-2 on penalties, following the match ending in a goalless draw.
Neither team was able to decide the match in regular time, and the goalless draw continued throughout extra time, ultimately leading to a penalty shootout that favored the Saudi team.
The Saudi team was the more dominant side over the 120 minutes, controlling possession and successfully reaching the Qatari goal on several occasions, but without being able to score.
The Saudi team now awaits its opponent in the final, who will be the winner of the match between the UAE and Oman. The final match will be held next Tuesday.
The Saudi team continued its strong defensive record, keeping a clean sheet for the fourth consecutive match, after finishing the group stage with a perfect record and without conceding any goals.
The Saudi team had topped its group with 9 points, following victories over Kuwait, Oman, and Iraq, before overcoming Qatar in the semi-final to reach the final match.
