Shabwa: Sheikh Al-Sulaimani Released After His Home Was Raided in Radhum District

Security forces in Shabwa governorate released Sheikh Awad Mohammed Al-Sulaimani hours after raiding his home based on accusations of affiliation with the Houthi group, harboring armed cells, and smuggling weapons.
The release decision came after the accusations against him were not proven, in addition to stern warnings issued by the Al Sulaiman tribes, which expressed their condemnation and categorical rejection of such measures and raids, describing the accusations against the Sheikh as false and lacking any clear evidence or proof.
Local sources confirmed that the release followed the tribe's mobilization and condemnation of the method of making unsubstantiated accusations, demanding adherence to legal and tribal frameworks and prevailing customs, and avoiding incitement of strife or targeting social figures without legal justification.
The news of the release was met with widespread relief within the local community in the governorate, amid growing calls for the security services to exercise due diligence and accuracy before taking any steps that could affect stability and social peace.
