The First Deputy Governor of Taiz, Abdul Qawi Al-Mikhlafi, inspected several armed forces and popular resistance sites west of the city to assess the conditions of the fighters and stationed troops on the front lines.

The visit included the Ghorab and Al-Damina sites, the vicinity of the old airport, and the air defense area. He was accompanied by the Director-General of Al-Mudhaffar District, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Kadhi. They were received by the commander of the 7th Facilities Brigade, Brigadier General Marwan Moawada, and several military leaders from the brigade.

During the visit, Al-Mikhlafi reviewed the conditions of the stationed forces and shared lunch with them, conveying greetings from the local authority leadership, represented by Governor Nabil Shamsan. He affirmed their support for the armed forces and popular resistance in carrying out their duties.

Al-Mikhlafi emphasized that Taiz's resilience is based on the sacrifices of its people and their commitment to the state and republic project, despite the siege and challenges. He stressed the need to reinforce this resilience with more support from the political leadership, the government, and the coalition countries.

He noted the importance of Taiz's position in the battle to restore the state, considering that unifying ranks and integrating efforts and capabilities are fundamental pillars for reclaiming state institutions and ending the Houthi coup.
