Emergency Campaign Launched to Vaccinate Nearly a Million Yemeni Children Against Measles and Rubella

The Ministry of Public Health and Population launched an emergency vaccination campaign on Saturday against measles and rubella in 11 Yemeni governorates, with support from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
UNICEF stated in a post on the X platform that the six-day campaign targets nearly one million children aged between six months and five years.
The campaign is part of efforts to protect children from the two diseases and limit their spread.
The campaign is being carried out by 2,291 fixed and mobile vaccination teams, which will work to reach the targeted children in the areas covered by the campaign.
