Ali Al-Nono: The youth team faced great injustice against the UAE

Former national team player Ali Al-Nono said that the youth team faced a great injustice in its match on Sunday evening against the UAE in the semi-finals of the Gulf Youth Cup.
Al-Nono emphasized that the national teams suffer from repeated injustices, the latest of which was the youth team today.
He added: I tell myself that mistakes are common in football, and so many teams have suffered from refereeing injustice, whether intentional or unintentional... both before and after VAR. But at the same time, I am surprised by the repetition of this injustice in recent, consecutive matches in a clear way that raises doubt and suspicion.
Captain Ali Al-Nono questioned the reasons for the refereeing injustice, saying: Is it because we have no administrative reaction to this injustice, and because we are by nature lenient with our brothers, neighbors, and friends, and relationships remain more important than a football dispute, even at the expense of the results of a national team that hopes for joy and lives on the hope and dream of achieving positive results.
He continued: Or is the matter related to the lack of influence at the level of the continental federations or those under whose umbrella we participate... and the absence of influential sports leaders within these federations who protect, defend, and are at least respected by everyone. Or is the matter related to the lack of media and official influence, and presence within the organizing and refereeing committees and other centers of power and influence.
The youth national team bid farewell to the Gulf Cup on Sunday after losing in the semi-finals to its Emirati counterpart by one goal.
