The national youth team qualified on Thursday for the Gulf Cup semi-finals after defeating their Kuwaiti counterparts with two unanswered goals.

From the very beginning, our team showed their desire to score against Kuwait, launching a series of attacks from the wings and the center. However, Kuwait's solid defense, coupled with our players' haste and poor finishing, prevented an opening goal in the first half.

In the second half, our team's offensive pressure continued. Substitutions made by the coach improved the attack, especially after bringing on the promising Yassin Al-Sharafi, who managed to open the scoring for our team in the 70th minute just after entering the pitch. He then returned 10 minutes later to add the second goal, capping off a collective effort and an organized Yemeni attack.

Our team had other opportunities that could have resulted in a third goal, but they achieved the most important thing by winning with a brace and securing qualification. They raised their point tally to seven, qualifying alongside the group leader, the Egyptian team, for the semi-finals. Our team will face their Emirati counterparts, the leader of Group A, on Sunday, November 1, while the Egyptian and Chinese teams will play each other.
