Armed Forces Announce Neutralization of 1,860 Houthis in 24 Hours
The Armed Forces announced on Wednesday that they carried out 2,103 targeting operations against the positions and movements of the Houthi group on various fronts. They stated that these resulted in the neutralization of 1,860 members of the group, as part of Operation "Fajr Al-Yaman" (Yemen's Dawn).
Armed Forces spokesman Colonel Majed Abdullah Al-Nazili stated that the forces carried out "2,103 precision targeting operations against various military targets belonging to the militia across all axes and fronts."
He added that the operations resulted in the "neutralization of 1,860 militia elements," without specifying the number of dead and wounded separately. He also noted the destruction of hundreds of pieces of equipment, gear, and military sites belonging to the Houthis.
Al-Nazili accompanied his statement with a video clip, which he said shows part of the Yemeni forces' targeting of Houthi movements, fortifications, supply lines, and military sites, as part of the ongoing "Fajr Al-Yaman" operation, without specifying when it was carried out.
On Monday, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced the launch of Operation "Fajr Al-Yaman," with the aim of "restoring state institutions, liberating the capital Sana'a, and ending the Houthi coup."
