Protests at Mahra University Demanding Payment for Contractors
On Sunday, students from Mahra University held a protest at the college complex in Al-Ghaydah, demanding payment for contract workers, an end to the backlog of courses, and protection of academic plans from being affected by the educational shutdown.
The protesters demanded the immediate resumption of studies, compensation for the academic weeks they lost, and that they not be held responsible for the delay in the educational process, affirming their right to a regular and stable education without repeated interruptions during semesters.
The students also called on the relevant authorities to quickly respond to their demands, address the issues that led to the disruption of studies, and pay the contract workers their full dues, to ensure the stability and continuation of the educational process.
