The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Sunday that it intercepted and destroyed 10 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group towards Saudi Arabia.
Coalition forces spokesman, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said that air defenses intercepted and destroyed the ten missiles in the southern region of the Kingdom, without providing further details.
The announcement of the launch of this number of missiles in a single attack is considered one of the most significant declared attacks in months, amid the ongoing military escalation in the region.
