Military Commander and Officer in Yemeni Army Killed in Clashes with Houthis in Taiz

On Thursday evening, the Yemeni army announced the deaths of a military commander, an officer, and several of its members in clashes with the Houthi group in Taiz governorate, southwestern Yemen.
In a statement, the army's 35th Armored Brigade mourned the brigade's Training Officer, Colonel Mahfouz al-Jaradi, Captain Ma'moun al-Jaradi, and others, without specifying the number of other casualties.
The statement explained that they were killed on the Al-Aqroud front, south of Taiz governorate, during confrontations with the Houthi group, praising what it described as their steadfastness, discipline, and loyalty to their military oath.
