Army Attack in Al-Aqroudh Leaves Houthis Killed and Wounded
The media center of the Taiz axis announced that the National Army forces, backed by the Popular Resistance, carried out an attack on Houthi positions on the Al-Aqroudh front in the Al-Misrakh district, south of Taiz, last night. The attack resulted in more than 35 members killed and injured, a military vehicle disabled, and fortifications destroyed.
The center said the attack targeted positions in Jabal al-Manara, Kor, Wadi Kor, Al-Maqda, Al-Dhabaya, and Kahlan.
Earlier, the media center for the Al-Aqroudh front had announced surprise attacks on Houthi positions in the same areas, while government forces reported making field progress on the front and thwarting Houthi attempts to recapture lost positions.
In a related context, local sources reported renewed airstrikes on Houthi positions and gatherings in the city of Mocha, west of Taiz.
