Foreign Minister Carries Message from Al-Alimi to Erdoğan during Official Visit to Turkey
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Afrah Al-Zouba, arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday for an official visit, carrying a written message from the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Al-Zouba is scheduled to discuss with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, in addition to developments in the Yemeni and regional arenas and issues of common interest.
Upon her arrival, the minister was received by the Director of the Middle East Department at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmet Rıza Demirer, Yemen's Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Saleh Turiq, and the Honorary Consul in Istanbul, Mohammed Al-Mashhari.
