Schools in Shahan District, Al-Mahra Governorate, witnessed a massive solidarity protest on Tuesday demanding that teachers' legitimate rights be met and their living and professional conditions be improved.

Hundreds of students and teachers participated in the protest, along with administrative staff, several educational and social figures, and parents.

The protesting students and teachers raised banners and slogans emphasizing the importance of the teacher's status and demanding justice and the protection of their rights.

The protesters stressed that "a teacher's dignity is the nation's dignity" and that standing with teachers is a direct stand for the student's right to stable, high-quality education.

During the protest, speeches were delivered on behalf of the educational staff and students, all of which expressed great appreciation for the noble mission carried out by teachers.

The speeches emphasized that meeting the financial rights and living entitlements of teachers is the fundamental guarantee for the continuation of the educational process and preventing it from faltering in the face of difficult economic conditions.

At the end of the protest, the organizers praised the national spirit and discipline shown by the participating students and educational staff, calling on the relevant authorities to promptly respond to the just demands in a way that enhances the teacher's status and serves the interest of future generations.
