Al-Aradah: Marib Committed to Restoring the State, Its Fronts Ready to Face Developments
Presidential Leadership Council member and Marib Governor, General Sultan Al-Aradah, affirmed that the governorate is proceeding with supporting the Yemeni people's choices to restore state institutions and consolidate the republican system, amid the Houthi group's continued military escalation.
This came during a virtual meeting on Sunday with the UK Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, which discussed the latest developments in Yemen, recent military developments, and the repercussions of Houthi escalation on the security of the country and the region.
Al-Aradah stated that Marib stands with the Yemeni people and their national choices to reclaim state institutions from the Houthi group's grasp. He emphasized that the cohesion of the governorate's people, armed forces, and popular resistance on the frontlines, alongside national unity, is a key factor in confronting Houthi attacks.
He added that the fronts of Marib will remain "steadfast and cohesive," and capable of dealing with various developments and field challenges, according to the official Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
The meeting also addressed the latest developments in the Yemeni scene amid the ongoing military escalation, in addition to discussing the implications of field developments on the security of Yemen and the region, and efforts related to dealing with recent events.
