UN: Nearly 700 Killed as Fighting Escalates in Yemen

The United Nations has reported that nearly 700 people have been killed and thousands injured due to escalating fighting on several fronts within Yemen.
UN reports indicated the displacement of about 150,000 Yemenis from their homes, with thousands fleeing across the Red Sea to Africa.
Military confrontations are still ongoing this September, especially in the strategic highlands known as the Kahboub mountains, in the governorates of Taiz and Lahj, along with intermittent battles in the governorates of Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Bayda.
