Meteorological Center Warns of Floods, Urges Avoiding Valleys

The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has warned of flash floods in ravines and valleys, urging citizens to avoid their paths during and after rainfall. It also advised caution regarding thunderstorms and recommended taking safety measures.
The Center expects varied and scattered rainfall over parts of several governorates in the next 24 hours, accompanied by active winds over parts of Al-Dhale, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Al-Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada, as well as parts of the Tihamah Plain and the western coast.
The Meteorological Center called on citizens to be cautious of low horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds on mountain roads, and of rock and mudslides.
Meanwhile, scattered rain may fall on parts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Lahij, Al-Bayda, Abyan, and Shabwah governorates, and parts of the southern coasts.
