Meteorology Center Expects Thunderstorms in Coming Hours
The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast thunderstorms across parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, thunderstorms are expected over parts of the governorates of Lahij, Al Dhale'e, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Dhamar, Al Mahwit, and Hajjah, as well as parts of the Tihama Plain and the western coast.
Scattered rain may also fall on the highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut, and the Socotra archipelago.
The center warned citizens and drivers against being in valleys and flood channels, and cautioned against thunderstorms and low visibility on roads and mountain highlands due to clouds and fog, advising them to follow safety procedures.
