Ribat Al-Huda in Sayhut Celebrates 24th Anniversary with Omar bin Hafiz Attending
On Thursday evening, Ribat Al-Huda in the city of Sayhut, Al-Mahra Governorate, celebrated the twenty-fourth anniversary of its establishment and inauguration. This coincided with the conclusion of the Prophetic Biography councils and the academic year, in the presence of the acting Director-General of the district, Sheikh Ali Muhammad Ali Al-Zubaidi, the scholar Al-Habib Omar bin Hafiz, and a gathering of scholars, sheikhs, students of knowledge, and community members.
The event featured readings from the noble Prophetic Biography, and speeches and sermons that addressed the importance of following the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH), focusing on knowledge, education, and ethics, and the role of educational and advocacy institutions in building generations.
The Ribat's students also presented examples of the Islamic sciences and knowledge they had acquired during the academic year. The top and outstanding students of Ribat Al-Huda and Al-Habib Muhammad Ali Al-Hamid School were honored in recognition of their efforts and academic achievement.
The celebration was attended by a number of officials, social figures, scholars, and sheikhs, including the Mansab of the Al Sheikh Abi Bakr bin Salem family, Al-Habib Ali bin Hassan bin Sheikh Abi Bakr bin Salem; the Mansab of the Al-Mihdhar family, Al-Habib Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Mihdhar; and the Mansab of the Al-Hamid family in Sayhut, Mr. Muhammad Ali Al-Hamid, along with a crowd from the district.
Since its founding, Ribat Al-Huda has continued to fulfill its role in teaching Islamic sciences and the Prophetic Biography, qualifying and educating students, and contributing to community service.
